What is a Strategic Plan?
A strategic plan is an organizational tool used to set priorities, focus energy and resources, and strengthen operations. Using a Strategic Plan as a guide ensures that we are working toward common goals, agree on intended results, and are able to adjust the organization’s direction in response to the changing environment.
How did We Develop our Plan?
A team of NCOE staff from throughout the organization, working in coordination with leadership, developed a set of core values and designed the strategic plan. The team reviewed data related to organizational and student outcomes, developed tools to collect feedback and data (e.g. surveys, interviews, focus groups, report analysis, program data, etc.) Data collection included internal staff, school and community partners, families, and students.
The collected information was used to develop four strategic priorities to guide our internal and external work at NCOE through 2024.
