Heather is an Administrative Assistant with NCOE. Her role, amongst other things, includes the clearances and hiring of hourly employees and AmeriCorps members. Heather was born in the Bay Area and has lived in CA her entire life. She graduated from CSU, Chico with a degree in Child Development. Prior to her work with NCOE, Heather worked with children and families in some capacity since she was 18. These experiences include being a teacher in the classroom with children ages 6wks-10yrs old, being a child care center director at a facility serving homeless families, and being a case manager working with families who needed help paying their child care expenses. Heather has always had a passion for helping others.
Heather enjoys relaxing on the weekend with her family. She likes listening to music (all things 90s!) and loves the beach.
