Katherine Pineda Brooks is the Evaluation Coordinator for the National Service Pillar, responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on data for the Expanded Learning (EXL) and the statewide Volunteer Infrastructure Project (VIP) AmeriCorps grants. Katherine was born in Sonoma County, CA. She graduated from Sonoma State University with a BA degree in Environmental Studies and Planning with a focus on Environmental Education. While an undergraduate, Katherine served two AmeriCorps terms with NCOE. She later joined the NCOE staff team as a Site Supervisor and Administrative Assistant before starting her current position in 2021. She enjoys cooking, British panel shows, and visiting the many local parks and beaches. She lives in Santa Rosa with her two young children who like to join in on Service Days whenever they can and fancy themselves future AmeriCorps members.
