Dear Parent or Guardian,
The Healthy Schools Act of 2000 (as amended by Assembly Bill 2865, Chapter 865, Statutes of 2006) requires all California school districts and child day care centers to notify parents and guardians of pesticides that they expect will be applied during the upcoming year. We want to notify you that the following pesticides may be used at your school or child day care center this year:

Dear Parent or Guardian,
The Healthy Schools Act of 2000 (as amended by Assembly Bill 2865, Chapter 865, Statutes of 2006) requires that all schools and child day care centers provide parents or guardians of children who are enrolled at the facility with annual written notification of expected pesticide use at the school or day care center. This notification will identify the active ingredient or ingredients in each pesticide product. We have attached the notification letter. Visit the California Department of Pesticide Regulation’s School Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Website at (https://apps.cdpr.ca.gov/schoolipm/) for further information on pesticides and their alternatives.
Parents or guardians may request prior notification of individual pesticide applications at the school or day care center by registering with the Napa County Office of Education. To register please complete an Individual Application Notification form that is available on our website at https://www.napacoe.org or by contacting the General Department (707) 253-6828.

El Acta de Escuelas Saludables del 2000 (enmendado por La Propuesta de Ia Asamblea 2865, Capitulo 865, Ley del 2006) requiere que todas las escuelas y centros de cuidado de niños proveen a los padres o guardianes de los niños inscritos en estos programas una notificacion anual por escrito del uso de pesticidas en Ia escuela o centro de cuidado de niños. La notificacion identificara el ingrediente o ingredientes activos en cada producto de pesticida. Los padres o guardians pueden pedir notificacion de ante mano en la escuela o centro de cuidado de niños registrandose con Ia Oficina de Educacion del Condado de Napa.
