We look forward to meeting you! There are many stages to the member hiring process. Depending on the time of year that you are applying, the process can take 2 weeks or multiple months, so we recommend getting started as soon as you feel the call to serve.
Eligibility:
In order to be eligible for AmeriCorps, individuals must meet the following criteria:
- U.S. citizens
- U.S. Nationals, or
- Lawful permanent resident aliens
- Must be at least 18 years old, or 17 years old with a parent/guardian consent form
Enrollment & Onboarding Essentials:
Once hired for an AmeriCorps position with EXL or VIP, you’ll need the following documents readily available for onboarding and enrollment:
- Government Issued Photo ID (Driver’s license, U S passport)
- Social Security card (must be signed)
- A form of primary documentation of status as U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or lawful permanent resident (e.g., birth certificate, U.S. Passport, Certificate of Citizenship, Permanent Resident Card, etc.)
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required at time of enrollment.
